Cloud backups are Schrödinger’s disaster plan
So much can be said in a name. Schrödinger’s disaster plan. That's classic in a box. Had to say it!
But now it makes me think about backup plans and that's never good. So that's why we have someone else do it. Overall I pay about 150$ a year for my own niche of the internet. Some years I even recover the costs in full by hosting other web sites, not so much of late. I'm pleased with the security it brings, but I don't even use it effectively. Doing anything effectively requires effort. And settling for the cookie cutter version is usually good enough.
Good enough?
Good enough that I can put off doing anything about it right now. What's for dinner?
:)
